Mental Health Services in Oakland County for individuals and families
-Oakland Community Health Network- 248-464-6363- This is the intake number to use to access community mental health resources in Oakland county. They will provide an on the phone screener at first to determine qualifications and what services a family might need. Oakland Community Health Network provide Case Management services to families and individuals in order to advocate for them and assist them with obtaining a variety of community resources such as mental health, medical, employment, etc. Individuals with Medicaid are able to utilize this agency.
Oakland Community Health Network leads a provider service network that assists approximately 25,800 Oakland County citizens. People who receive public mental health services through the OCHN provider network include those who have an intellectual/developmental disability, adults with a mental illness, children with serious emotional disturbance, and persons with substance use disorders.

The Sanctuary (Ages 10-17)751 Hendrie Blvd, Royal Oak, MI 48067
Common Ground operates a free and safe 24-hour shelter for at-risk youth. The Sanctuary offers a 3-week residential program, out-patient counseling, and provides trauma-informed care to youth and families in crisis. The goal of this program is family reunification. Survivors of Homicide Support Group: This free 10-week program uses structured topics and guest speakers to provide support for those facing the loss of a loved one due to homicide. This group usually meets 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at our Resource and Crisis Center, building 32 East in the Oakland County Service Center complex located at 1200 N. Telegraph Rd., Pontiac, MI 48341.
